REDTRAIN NETWORKS has advised that customers may experience service disruptions due to an unexpected communication error between the Corcess OLT (Optical Line Terminal) and some ONU (Optical Network Units) in Pakenham. Customer’s are advised to contact Ascensa if they identify that the “Internet LED” on the Corcess ONU is showing an offline status. REDTRAIN engineers are investigating the problem, no estimated repair time has been provided by the carrier.
REDTRAIN NETWORKS has performed a power-cycle on the Corcess OLT in the Pakenham exchange at approximately 4:00pm (AEST). Full service restoration is expected to be completed by 8:00pm (AEST). Customers are advised to contact Ascensa Support if the “Internet LED” on the Corcess ONU is not restored at the estimated repair time.
