REDTRAIN Networks has reported intermittent dropouts in the surrounding Epping and Wollert area in Victoria. The matter has been referred to Telstra for further investigating, Customers with services in these locations may experience intermittent disruptions.

REDTRAIN Networks has confirmed errors on Telstra backhaul services to the Epping and Wollert exchange. Investigations in ongoing with Telstra, REDTRAIN Networks to provide as as investigations continue. Customers with services in these locations will continue to experience intermittent disruptions.

REDTRAIN Networks advises that Telstra will be performing a “RFC Test” to further investigate the ongoing dropout issues in Epping and Wollert. During the test, bandwidth capacity will be operating at 50% capacity to minimise service disruption to customers. The scheduled test will take place between :17:30pm to 18:30pm AEST.

REDTRAIN Networks advises that Telstra has aidentified incorrect VLAN tagging within their own network. The incorrect VLAN tagging has been disabled by Telstra engineers however REDTRAIN engineers continue to see input errors. Next action will reuire a system reboot to ensure the changes have taken afffect. This has been scheduled for 06:00am AEST on Thursday 1st October.

Telstra equipment scheduled for power-cycle at Wollert exchange. All customers connecting through Wollert and Epping will be affected by the brief outage.

REDTRAIN Network advises that Telstra have made buffering configuration changes at REDTRAIN’s Wollert exchange. Telstra will be communicating further testing to be conducted in the week commencing Monday 5th October.

REDTRAIN Networks advises that Telstra will be performing a power-cycle of their equipment at REDTRAIN’s Wollert exchange at 12:00pm AEST. There will be a service disruption during the rebooting process with services expected to be restored by 12:30 pm AEST.
