Suspected unplanned network outage disruption with REDTRAIN Networks. Customers may experience intermittent service disruptions in the surrounding Cranbourne East area. REDTRAIN Networks has been notified of the service difficulties and is currently investigating, no details of fault has been confirmed. Ascensa to advise once further details are provided, we apologies for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

REDTRAIN Networks advises that an unknown error has occurred with Telstra’s Network Termination Unit (NTU) device responsible for backhaul services for Pakenham and Warragul. Currently no ETR – REDTRAIN Networks to provide further details when next update is issued by Telstra for affected services.

Carrier Update Advice – Telstra has confirmed that their device located at REDTRAIN’s FTTH exchange is unreachable. A Telstra engineer is scheduled to be dispatched to perform a physical assessment of the affected device. REDTRAIN Networks advises that all services connecting to the FTTH exchange in Cranbourne East will be impacted. Currently no ETR – REDTRAIN Networks to provide further details when next update is issued by Telstra of engineer site attendance.

Carrier Update Advice – REDTRAIN advises that services to Cranbourne East was restored at 8:30pm AEST. Ascensa is monitoring service restoration status of our customer to ensure there are no outstanding issues. Please allow time for your Optical Network Unit (ONU) to register with the Optical Line Terminal (OLT), this can take anywhere up to 90 minutes.
